About · North America Luxury Guide
Field notes from North America.
North America Luxury Guide is a field-reporting publication covering resorts, routes, villas, wellness escapes, and the filming agenda behind them.
What North America Luxury Guide is
North America Luxury Guide is the field-reporting sibling in the network: a site built to answer the stay decision, the route decision, and the filming decision while Bruce is still on the ground in North America. It is deliberately narrower than a generic travel site. We care about the properties worth the drive, the coastal and mountain hotels that still deliver on arrival, and the villa, wellness, and charter questions that often sit behind a seemingly simple resort trip.
What we cover first
- American Southwest desert resorts and long-weekend routes
- California coast, Napa, and high-service driveable luxury
- Mountain resorts, ranches, and wilderness luxury in the Rockies
- New England and Hudson Valley grand dames worth filming
- Baja and Los Cabos as the near-haul warm-weather extension
How we report
The core standard is first-hand. We visit the property, document the approach, check the room against the rate, test the dining and spa flow, and write down what happens when something misses. North America coverage is also built for filming: arrival sequences, room reveals, pool and spa proof, and the service notes that tell us if a resort is ready for editorial recommendation or only for a pretty social clip.
Where a simple resort trip becomes a Viaive trip
North America Luxury Guide is the editorial front door. When a trip becomes more complex — private aviation, multiple properties, a villa-versus-hotel decision, or concierge-level planning — we route the lead up into Viaive concierge. That keeps the field reporting here sharp while the higher-ticket conversion layer stays centralized.
How to pitch coverage or a site visit
If you run a resort, villa portfolio, ranch, or wellness property in North America and want to be considered for coverage, send a current rate sheet, a named operations contact, and any filming restrictions or drone rules to editorial@northamericaluxuryguide.com. We are interested in properties that can hold up both editorially and visually, not just on a brochure PDF.
